Skype’s vision nearly 20 years ago was to change the way people communicate, so anyone could stay in touch wherever they were via instant messaging and video. That vision is today a reality with Skype being known as the global brand that revolutionised the communications industry. 


We were involved in overseeing and executing the PR from the early days of Skype as a start-up through to the eBay acquisition. We achieved high profile media coverage in national and international media ranging from Tatler Magazine, The Sunday Times, Time Magazine, Radio Five Live and Channel 4 news. 


Marketing, PR and leading the communications strategy for Positive Futures, the Home Office funded national youth crime prevention programme. This included:

Setting up a Youth Advisory Board and leading the development of an action plan ‘Six Steps to Safer Britain’ that was presented to the Home Office and was instrumental in Positive Futures being awarded an extra two year’s funding.  

Leading a corporate responsibility partnership with multinational alcoholic beverages company Diageo which included creating an employee engagement programme, joint PR campaigns and a work experience programme to give young people the opportunity to develop skills for employment by working with Diageo. 

Developing a national survey with 1,000 young people UK examining reasons and issues related to binge drinking. The survey gained widespread national print and broadcast media coverage.

Content development and messaging positioning for all Microsoft Business Solutions

products (Now Microsoft Dynamics). Ensuring consistency of messaging and the internal and external communication resonate with the target audience.

Enhancing the customer online experience of the UK Microsoft Dynamics website and employee experience of the SharePoint intranet.  

Providing and co-ordinating content/messaging for all internal and external newsletters.

Developing and managing the roll-out of the MBS internal awareness plan.


Overseeing and executing the International PR launch of the NVIDIA Networking Business Unit, following the acquisition of Mellanox Technologies. The acquisition united two of the world’s leading companies in high performance and data centre computing. 


We launched this strategy game to rival chess to the public. National and regional media coverage including GB News, BBC Online, The Daily Mirror, and BBC Radio across the South West gave a 40% increase in sales within two weeks of the coverage. Instagram engagement increased by 625%, and we reached 9.8K Facebook accounts in one month.


We managed and executed the PR launch of BoxWay Packaging Group Ltd following the acquisition of Saica Plant’s strategically important plants in Exeter, Peterlee and Telford. Boxway received widespread coverage in the packaging trade media and social media engagement. During the course of working together since June 2021 we have generated 6.3k website page views with an average bounce rate of 47.88%.

Haven Power was being rebranded as Drax, with the aim of helping business customers become more sustainable. Drax didn't have the internal resources for all the communications needed for this major rebrand. We were brought in to help with this high-volume writing and editing project that spanned web pages, white papers and customer communications.

We pulled together a team for e-commerce web design and build, copy across digital and print, branding, social media marketing and PR. We project managed the launch and ongoing social media marketing. Media coverage highlights are The Metro, The Oxford Times, Love It Magazine and GB News. During the course of working together since August 2021 we have generated over 21.6k website page views with an average bounce rate of 31.15%. We also reached around 5,700 people via Facebook and 11,520 people by Instagram.

We launched GuestNet, the first DIY marketing suite for small hospitality businesses at the Independent Hotel Show and manage the PR for Clockwork Marketing with a focus on gaining coverage in the hospitality trade media.


We gathered a team and project managed the launch of the British Hemp Company. E-commerce web design and build, branding and design, PR, mission and messaging, web and packaging copy, TOV, social campaign planning and blogs. 


Creation and execution of internal comms strategy during time of strategic change. Execution included - all-hands team meetings (scripting of content and coaching of senior leadership) both live from large venues and later webcasted live to wider team across multiple locations during lockdown.

Launch of weekly newsletter and close work with leadership team to ensure updates supported strategic direction during a period of transformation. Podcasts, intranet articles, management emails, posters, Yammer, Sharepoint and Teams (video and written). 

External comms work included: thought leadership editorial; scriptwriting and production of multiple corporate videos for recruitment purposes; close work with leadership team on rebrand of CIO to Nationwide Technology; work with Employer Branding team on redesign of careers site – structure, functionality and messaging. 

Employer branding copy across print and digital. Lots of it, for about five years until they hired inhouse writers.
